Use the menus below the search boxes to limit to VIDEOS and to select the specific LANGUAGE you need. You can also have the results sorted by TITLE or by DATE. (Usually the date the dvd or video was released, not the date the film was originally released.)
Sound Recordings
The music CD collection consists of over 9,000 titles, almost half of which were recently added through a generous donation from the estate of Mark Koop, '72. There is a large collection of vinyl LPs dating from the 1940s to the mid-1980s, which is now shelved in the main library, LL1 East stacks. The IMC also houses archival sound and video recordings of select theses, lectures, presentations, and events at Reed. Most audio CDs checkout to students for 3 days. Reed archives checkout for 4 hours and must be used in the IMC.
Scores
The IMC houses an extensive collection of music scores, ranging from critical editions of composers' complete works to performing editions of individual pieces. Most scores can be checked out for 28 days and may be renewed.
Equipment
The IMC checks out audio-visual equipment and laptops. Headphones, laptops and chargers check out for one day (due in the IMC at closing). All other equipment checks out for three days. Late fines are $1/day. Current audio-visual equipment available for checkout includes: projectors, screens, camcorders, portable audio recorders, VCR/DVD players, compact powered speakers, USB headsets, Wacom tablets, and an acoustic guitar.
