About the Collections:

The Special Collections & Archives of the Reed College Library contain rare books and manuscripts, Reediana and the college archives, artists' books and theses, and those special items that connect us to our past. For example, you may peruse a diary of co-founder Simeon Reed, a 16th century map, a letter by Jack Kerouac, or a poetry book published by an Italian printer in 1498. Consult all special collection holdings in the archives room staffed by the librarian and an assistant.
