16mm Film Reels (1923-Present)
16mm
Celluloid film strips have seen a revival in recent years, but arguably the format never really left. 16mm film was introduced in January 1923, with sound being added to the format in 1930. The measurement refers to the width of the film strip itself and the 16mm allowed for films to be more accessible and are still used in television and by home movie-makers alike. This film was made for Reed admissions in the early 1960s, called "A Different Drummer."
