Zine Collection
The Reed Zine Library is a curated collection of zines by and about:
- Student Life at Reed
- Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)
- Queer, Trans and LGBTQIA+ Identities
- Portland/ Pacific Northwest
Additionally, the collection includes topics such as:
- Activism & Social Justice
- Punk
- Art & experimental forms
- Autobio perzines
- Feminism
- Body positivity & Fat activism
- Ability/Disability
Black Zine Collection
In 2025, the Black Zine Collection was founded as a permanent part of the Reed Zine Library by student curator Andee Gude '26, with support by zine intern Jaden Cabrera '26.
Student Made Zines
Students can submit zines to the collection made for personal use, for club outreach, for informational purposes or from classroom assignments. Many of the zines by Reedies are printed in the Visual Resource Center on Risotto the risograph machine.
