Create Zines

The Reed Zine Library is a zine making resource library, equipped with the following tools available for use:

  • Gluesticks
  • Scissors
  • Paper (printer, cardstock, white, colorful)
  • Writing instruments (Inky pens, sharpies, markers, color pencils)
  • Magazines for collaging material
  • Washi-tape
  • Clear Tape
  • Bone folders
  • Paper cutter
  • Long arm staplers
  • Saddle stitch stapler
  • Photocopy machine (5¢ a side for black and white and 30¢ a side for color)

For those who would like to take zine making supplies on the go, Zine Kits are perfect for hosting zine making sessions with your club, organization, class or just something fun to do with your friends. We offer Group Zine Kits and Zine Kits for individuals. Kits can be checked out at the Circulation Desk for one week.

The Visual Resources Center (VRC) provides students with additional zine making supplies and specialized printing equipment like the Risograph. Check out the calendar of events for upcoming risograph demos and workshops throughout the year.
