An Invitation to Road Trip through the Columbia River Gorge

Friends of the Columbia River Gorge, a nonprofit organization founded to protect the Gorge, sent an invitation to Mary Ethel Bernard in 1999. The organization invited Bernard to join the group for a road trip and special guided tour through the Columbia River Gorge. The invitation itself includes highlights along the Gorge, such as Gibbons Creek, Memaloose Overlook, Dalton Point Viewpoint, and Cape Horn. Mary Ethel Bernard was Reed’s first woman biology professor and was a donor to Friends of the Columbia River Gorge.
