Primary Source Sets

The Reed College Commons Club was active from 1979 to 1990, bringing numerous guest speakers and alumni to campus each week to have breakfast and chat about current issues and topics. In the invitation above from 1984, alumni were invited to socialize over a meal consisting of things like omelettes and muffins. While they shared a meal together, participants listen to speakers such as the Director of the Zoo and the Acting President of the College. The speakers changed each meeting, but the food offerings appeared to remain the same.
