The data above is an excerpt from a research project titled "Attitudes Towards Civil Liberties Among High School Seniors," which was published in 1967. This excerpt from the report differentiates between student attitudes towards teachers who are supposedly communists and teachers who are supposedly highly respected. This study was one of John Pock's many research projects during his time as a sociology professor at Reed from 1955 to 1998.
