Information for Visitors

Visitors can access the library until 6pm, 7 days a week, except holidays and breaks. After 6pm, the library is restricted to the Reed community. Visitors may search the library catalog for materials on or off campus. Library materials are not loanable to visitors but may be used while in the building. Loans from Summit institutions are not available.

Reed College offers public wi-fi access. Most library databases may be used by visitors for research while they are visiting campus, but we are unable to offer off-campus access. The Woodstock branch  of the Multnomah County Public Library at 49th & Woodstock offers loanable materials, public computers, and printing.

Reed College Library is a U.S. federal depository library facilitating public access to federal government information. Questions can be directed to the library reference desk.

VISITING SUMMIT PATRONS
